    Newspapers report that Uemura's position as IJF Sports Director is now being threatened too.

    This is not surprising, and possibly echos involvement of the Vizer camp. Uemura would have been able to offer strong competition for Vizer as a potential IJF Presidential candidate during the next IJF elections. These scandals are exactly what Vizer needed to neutralize that competition ...
