Training Through Injury - Interview with Travis Stevens

I interviewed Travis Stevens (2x Olympian and Renzo bjj brown belt) on the podcast, and he said something that revealed how much sacrifice is required to be an elite-level judoka, that sometimes he often trains and competes through injury "because I have a job to do". In a culture that emphasizes the importance of rest, that kind of sentiment might seem crazy, but to me it's admirable and inspiring. It's the reality of passionately pursuing the goal of being the best in the world, no matter the cost. Here's the YouTube version, or you can get it as "Take It Uneasy" on iTunes or the site http://takeituneasy.com/13
