Excited? Is the honeymoon over that quick GoofyJumper?

First thoughts ... "The Physics of Star Trek" which my bookseller daughter gave me as a signed copy for Christmas, along with an autographed picture of Michael Dorn as Worf for Father's Day before that.

Thoughts which followed as a consequence of watching the trailer ... "inertial dampeners off line!" ... and what kind of mess that would actually leave.

    Enough to restore your faith?

honeymoon as in the trip itself? yes that ended a while ago. the wife and I have agreed that the honeymoon is not allowed to ever end.

slightly restored, yes. but you're just one of many. I'd have hoped everyone would be all over this.

Wrong section ... this is NOT off topic ... note compression underpants.

P.S. - the 23rd century and still having to put down cheap-ass-hand-me-down tumbling mats in somebody else's gym. Still no respect!

there should be no complaints about socks on the mats in the future, either

Hello there Stacey. Have you been enjoying the nice warm weather ... because we have not ... and even a long time JF opponent of anything un-traditional was spotted on our tatami Saturday morning at 37 degrees with a hoodie under his (admittedly white) judogi and SOCKS on his feets.

welcome to my version of winter judo! Now you know why I like loose fitting judogi - in the winter, you can dress in layers and layers. Socks beat frost bite any day, and I won't hold it against you, especially post workout ....

They have socks with grippy bottoms. For those really cold days when you can't feel your toes because the mats are like ice.

I just love that they salvaged the aging crew of the original series through a typical, though stunning special effects, mechanism of sci fi. I look forward to further iterations of the whole series.
